Sports news ยป Stephen Dmytryk Aims for Undefeated Streak and Title Shot at AOW 48

Stephen Dmytryk is on a mission to maintain his perfect record and position himself for a title opportunity at Art of War Cage Fighting 48. The event is scheduled for June 6th at the Valley Forge PA Casino, featuring a compelling lineup with four professional bouts and a total of 13 fights.

The main card boasts significant matchups, including Ian โ€œthe Hammerโ€ Alston defending his light heavyweight title against Chris Renwick, and โ€œB Moโ€ Ben Moser facing the resilient Cole Cameron in a bantamweight clash. Isaac Kent will make his AOW debut against Tyler Kirkpatrick.

A highly anticipated flyweight contest features Christian Carlo (2-0, both by finish) and Brandon Bohannon (2-0). Both fighters are seen as potential future stars, with Carlo bringing a significant reach advantage.

On the undercard, 20-year-old Stephen Dmytryk, nicknamed โ€œDarce Chocolate,โ€ is a fighter to watch. With a 2-0 professional record, Dmytryk displays remarkable personality and confidence for his age, honed by rigorous training at The Forge MMA alongside notable teammates. He acknowledges the challenging journey of martial arts, stating, “One of the more difficult things you realize is that you have to get beat up for years before you even start getting decent. Iโ€™m nowhere near where I want to be. Iโ€™m still getting beat up and Iโ€™ve been getting beat up for four years but Iโ€™m finally getting somewhere where Iโ€™m not getting beat up as much.”

The undercard also features other exciting fights, such as the 170 lb championship bout for Art of War Cage Fighting between Justus Cheatom and Isaiah Herring, a battle between Chris Molina and AJ Bernieri, and a potential โ€œfireworksโ€ matchup between Isaac Pantano and Sean Casey.

For those unable to attend in person, the event will be available for purchase as a Pay-Per-View broadcast on the Starfund App.
