BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) returned to Slovenia for its seventh event, BRAVE CF 106, held in partnership with World Freefight Challenge at the Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana on August 6, 2026. The event featured a compelling fight card, including two world championship contests, delivering an exciting night of mixed martial arts for fans globally.
In the headlining bout of BRAVE CF 106, Pavel Dailidko, the Lithuanian powerhouse, successfully retained his BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Championship by swiftly defeating Slovenia’s Miha Frlic. Dailidko weathered an initial offensive from Frlic before finding his rhythm. A precise right hand sent Frlic to the canvas, and Dailidko capitalized with ground-and-pound strikes, leading the referee to stop the fight just over a minute into the first round. “The Experiment” emphatically secured his heavyweight title defense.
The co-main event saw Mohamed โLโAmbianceโ Said Maalem achieve a significant career milestone by dethroning Erko โThe Bounty Hunterโ Jun to claim the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Championship in their anticipated rematch. After an aggressive start from Jun, Said Maalem gradually shifted the momentum. In the fourth round, he secured a dominant position on the ground and delivered powerful ground-and-pound to secure the victory and the world title.
In a notable upset, Russia’s Marina Merchuk secured a career-best victory over the highly-ranked and hometown favorite, Monika Kuฤiniฤ, in the women’s strawweight division. Merchuk’s effective counter-striking proved decisive in a closely contested striking battle, earning her a split decision win.
Lasha Abramishvili, the second-ranked bantamweight contender, maintained his undefeated BRAVE CF record with a commanding performance against Brice Picaud. Utilizing a relentless wrestling-heavy approach, Abramishvili controlled the fight for a unanimous decision victory.
The main card opened with a fiercely contested rematch between Amil Tutiฤ and David Forster in a catchweight bout. Both fighters engaged in intense exchanges, with Tutiฤ ultimately securing a narrow unanimous decision to even the score in their rivalry.
