The Summer Game Fest has arrived and passed, surprisingly proving to be a highly successful event. It managed to connect with its audience, creating a buzz and leaving us with a wealth of new content to discuss and add to our calendars.
What were some of the highlights? We’re talking about potential new entries like Resident Evil Veronica and Final Fantasy VII Revelation. There was also Virtua Fighter Crossroads and Stranger than Heaven, offering plenty for every taste. Fumito Ueda showcased his new project, gen Atlas (formerly Project Robot), and Platinum Games revealed The Last Ronin, their second attempt at a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game โ let’s hope this one truly delivers. We also got a new Cuphead, in fact, two of them! Even the new Among Us looks promising.
Overall, this episode is dedicated to celebrating the exciting reveals from the event, though we’ll also touch upon any aspects that fell short of expectations. The world of video games is back, folks!
