Masaaki Noiri Secures Quick KO Win, Advances in ONE SAMURAI Kickboxing Tournament

In a thrilling night of ONE Championship action at the EBARA WAVE Arena Ota in Tokyo, Japan, Masaaki Noiri delivered a decisive performance to reach the semifinals of the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament. The former ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion faced Liu “Spirit Dragon” Mengyang in a highly anticipated rematch.

Noiri showcased his striking prowess early, landing a powerful calf kick that unsettled Mengyang. The fight was tactical, with both fighters exchanging kicks and punches. In the final seconds of the first round, Noiri increased the pressure, landing a clean left hand followed by another devastating left that sent Liu Mengyang to the canvas. The fight was stopped at 2:59 of the first round, securing Noiri a spot in the semifinals and a significant US$100,000 performance bonus.

Also advancing to the semifinals was Mohammad Siasarani, who achieved a spectacular first-round knockout against Japanese prospect Kaito. Siasarani, riding a five-fight win streak, earned a US$50,000 bonus for his performance. He utilized sharp counter combinations and powerful low kicks before finishing the fight with a decisive left head kick at 1:27 of the first round.

The event also featured other kickboxing and MMA bouts, including Luo Chao's unanimous decision win over Kosuke Takagi, Keito Yamakita's submission victory against Koyuru Tanoue, Reiji's unanimous decision over Shoma Okumura, Katsuki Kitano's knockout of Ranma, and Subaru Mori's submission win against Yusuke Sato.
