Francis Ngannou, Megan Olivi, Akaash Singh, and Others Rally Behind Israel Adesanya After UFC Seattle Loss
The MMA community has responded to Israel Adesanya's frank statement following his recent defeat by Joe Pyfer.
Last weekend, "The Last Stylebender" faced Pyfer in the main event of UFC Seattle. Adesanya displayed sharp form in the first round, landing precise strikes, showcasing excellent takedown defense, and demonstrating flawless footwork.
However, echoing his three previous bouts, Adesanya's decision to exchange blows with Pyfer in the second round did not go his way. The 36-year-old was caught by multiple uppercuts, taken to the canvas, and TKO'd by "Bodybagz" before the second stanza concluded.
Despite four consecutive losses, Adesanya has refused to retire, vowing to "go again and again."
Following his setback at UFC Seattle, the Nigerian-born Kiwi also shared a message with fans via Instagram. He wrote:
“I know it’s hard on my people seeing me fall. I promise you it’s harder on me. Regardless, we respawn and go again. 🎲🎲”
