Vitoria Brum, the wife of former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira, has publicly rebuked Mauricio Ruffy following his critical comments about Oliveira's recent BMF title victory against Max Holloway at UFC 326.

Earlier this month, "Do Bronxs" successfully dethroned Max Holloway, claiming the BMF strap through a dominant unanimous decision win in the main event of UFC 326. Oliveira's performance included 110 total strikes, 5 takedowns, and over 20 minutes of control time, demonstrating a clear strategic advantage.

Despite the decisive victory, Oliveira's wrestling-heavy approach in a BMF title fight—where many anticipated a more striking-focused "slugfest"—drew criticism from various corners. Fans, analysts, UFC CEO Dana White, and Nate Diaz (the mastermind behind the BMF belt) were among those who voiced their disapproval of the grappling-intensive strategy.

Even current two-time UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski suggested that the promotion might consider shelving the BMF belt after the outcome of UFC 326, reflecting the sentiment that the fight did not live up to the belt's "baddest motherf***er" ethos.

He added, "Charles had an incredible fight, but surely the UFC won’t want to see him grabbing and holding [McGregor], and Conor won’t put himself in that position either."

She also delivered a pointed reminder to Ruffy about her husband's unparalleled record in submissions, highlighting his dominance in the grappling realm.

"Ruffy, don’t come trying to ride the wave of my husband, because he has more submissions than you have fights!" she declared, drawing attention to Oliveira's impressive 22 submission victories in the UFC, a number that surpasses Ruffy’s total professional fights (15).
