Mental Stress Led to Anti-Doping Charge for Vondrousova

Marketa Vondrousova, the former Wimbledon champion, has been charged by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) for refusing a doping test. The Czech player explained that the incident occurred when she had “reached a breaking point after months of physical and mental stress.”
