Heritage Golf Group has successfully acquired The Palisades Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, from Timberlake Golf Club, LLC. This significant move establishes Heritage’s presence in the Charlotte area and broadens its footprint across the Carolinas, complementing its existing portfolio of clubs in Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and Hilton Head Island.

Nestled within the expansive 1,600-acre master-planned Palisades community just outside Charlotte, The Palisades Country Club offers a golf course that artfully follows the natural contours along Lake Wylie. Designed to be enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels, the course is supported by extensive practice facilities and a specialized short game area.
Beyond golf, members enjoy access to a comprehensive array of sports and wellness facilities at the club’s Signature Sports Complex. This complex features courts for tennis and pickleball, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a resort-style aquatic center complete with a zero-entry pool, lap lanes, water slides, and family-oriented water attractions.
Initial plans for capital improvements are currently under review, with input from members and staff guiding future enhancements to ensure they align with the club’s specific priorities. Early investments will concentrate on elevating the golf course and enhancing the amenities that contribute to an exceptional member experience.
This acquisition represents Heritage Golf Group’s 48th property acquired in just six years under its current ownership, underscoring the company’s sustained growth and strategic expansion into new markets.
