Real Madrid Perplexed by England's Conduct Regarding Jude Bellingham

With the international break now concluded, Real Madrid is preparing to resume club football this weekend. The team will be without the suspended Fede Valverde for their upcoming match against Mallorca, which potentially opens the door for Jude Bellingham to return to the starting lineup after a two-month absence.

Bellingham sustained a hamstring injury in early February, keeping him sidelined for six weeks. He made his comeback during the Madrid derby just before the international window. He is now eager to secure a starting spot, especially with a critical series of games on the horizon for Los Blancos, highlighted by the Champions League quarter-final clash with Bayern Munich.

However, Bellingham's chances of starting against Mallorca appear slim. Real Madrid reportedly views him as 'cold' or lacking match sharpness because he did not feature in either of England's two international fixtures. This decision has reportedly baffled the club's management, according to Marca.

Real Madrid's Frustration Over Bellingham's Lack of Playing Time

Initially, Real Madrid was displeased by Bellingham's call-up but was powerless to prevent his departure. Upon his arrival in England, the club had hoped he would gain valuable minutes to enhance his match fitness. Ultimately, however, he was not selected to play in either game.

This situation has left Real Madrid both bewildered and annoyed. Had it been determined that Bellingham wouldn't participate in the matches, the club would have strongly preferred him to stay at Valdebebas during the international break. Consequently, they will only have a couple of days to work with him before their Saturday fixture at Son Moix.

Therefore, it's highly improbable that Bellingham will be risked from the start against Mallorca, although he is expected to make an impact off the bench. Valverde's starting spot is more likely to be filled by players such as Eduardo Camavinga or Franco Mastantuono.
