Kylian Mbappé Refutes Real Madrid Misdiagnosis Claims

Reports emerged earlier this week suggesting that Real Madrid had incorrectly diagnosed a knee injury previously suffered by Kylian Mbappé. It was alleged that the club's medical department examined the wrong knee during initial assessments, leading the French forward to play three matches before the accurate diagnosis was made.

While Real Madrid's medical team has faced scrutiny on previous occasions, Mbappé himself has now stepped forward to clarify the situation regarding this specific matter. Speaking to the media during France's training camp on Wednesday (as reported by MD), he firmly stated that no such incident took place.

Mbappé directly addressed the allegations, declaring: "The information that Real Madrid examined my knee that was not wrong is totally false. There was always clear communication with the medical services." This statement underscored his view that the diagnostic process was transparent and accurate.

The ongoing issue with his knee has been a significant concern for Mbappé. The problem initially arose in December, resulting in him spending several weeks on the sidelines. He made his return in January, but it became increasingly evident that he was not fully fit. Consequently, a decision was made in February for him to undergo a complete recovery, which he has now successfully achieved.

Real Madrid's Apprehension Over Mbappé's International Call-Up

However, Real Madrid finds it far from ideal that Mbappé is currently with the French national squad at their training camp in the United States. He only returned to competitive action last week against Manchester City and has yet to be deemed fit enough to start for Álvaro Arbeloa's side. Should he suffer a relapse while on international duty, it would be a disastrous setback for Los Blancos during a crucial phase of their season.

Real Madrid will undoubtedly be hoping that Mbappé comes through the international break unscathed, as they aim to have him fully fit for the final weeks of the season. He is expected to be a vital player for Arbeloa's team as they pursue success in both La Liga and the Champions League.
