Sports news » Conor McGregor Introduces MAC ENERGY, Highlighting Unique Ketone Formula

Conor McGregor, renowned for his success both in and out of the UFC octagon, has launched his latest business venture: a new energy drink brand named “MAC ENERGY.” McGregor, who has amassed a significant fortune through his fighting career and various enterprises, is no stranger to the beverage industry, having previously achieved substantial success with Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey and holding a stake in Forged Irish Stout.

McGregor unveiled “MAC ENERGY” at the Beverage Forum 2026 in California, signaling his expansion into the competitive energy drink market. While specific details about the product were initially limited, McGregor offered a glimpse on social media, sharing images and videos of boxing star Ryan Garcia promoting the new drink, which appears to come in multiple flavors.

MAC ENERGY: A Distinctive Edge in the Energy Drink Market

Taking to social media platform X, Conor McGregor elaborated on what makes “MAC ENERGY” stand out from its rivals. He stated that his new drink features a unique, newly patented formula that incorporates 5 grams of BHB (Beta-hydroxybutyrate), a ketone known for its role in energy production. McGregor emphasized that this patented ingredient gives MAC ENERGY a distinct advantage that competitors cannot easily replicate.

“My creation for the $90bn per annum energy drinks category. However, it is unlike any other. It is the ONLY energy drink with 5 grams of the ketone ‘BHB’ inside. The ‘energy’ ketone (Google BHB). I also have this ketone patented. Meaning, while all the sleeping giants in the category have just been caught off guard by the MAC, they can do nothing about it! MAC ENERGY IS HERE! Enjoy, Beverage Forum, California! That’s how it’s done!” McGregor posted.

This announcement comes as McGregor continues to be linked with a potential return to the UFC, with recent reports suggesting a rematch against Max Holloway at UFC 329 on July 11th.
