A new film about the UFC is in the works for the big screen.
According to a recent press release, renowned director Zack Snyder will be co-writing and directing Brawler. This movie will tell the story of a man from Los Angeles who climbs through the ranks of the UFC, battling his personal struggles as he seeks redemption in the octagon. Turki Alashikh, a partner in TKO`s new boxing venture, will be involved as a co-producer.
Currently, there`s no information available regarding who will star in the film, or when it is expected to be released.
Dana White shared his enthusiasm in the press release, stating, “His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and Zack Snyder share a vision for creating a film about the UFC. They are both deeply passionate about this project and want to show fans the dedication and effort required to become a UFC champion. It’s a very ambitious undertaking, and I am excited to see it materialize.”
Snyder is known for directing popular movies such as Dawn of the Dead (2004), 300 (2006), Man of Steel (2013), and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
