The Winnipeg Jets are strengthening their team as they head out for their upcoming away games.
On Monday, the team announced the call-up of forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan and goaltender Chris Driedger from the Manitoba Moose, their AHL affiliate.
Anderson-Dolan has been a productive player for the Moose this season, accumulating 19 points in 51 games. Having signed with Winnipeg as a free agent last summer, he is now set to potentially make his debut with the Jets in the regular season.
The 25-year-old Calgary native brings NHL experience, with 28 points in 127 career games over six seasons playing for the Los Angeles Kings and Nashville Predators.
Driedger has played five games for the Moose, recording one win and maintaining a 3.30 goals-against average with a .872 save percentage.
Driedger joined the Jets organization in a trade with the Florida Panthers just before the trade deadline on March 7, in exchange for goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen.
The 30-year-old Winnipeg native`s NHL career includes 67 games over seven seasons with the Ottawa Senators, Panthers, and Seattle Kraken, where he has a record of 31-24-5, a 2.45 GAA, and a .917 save percentage.
The Jets, currently leading the league with a 51-19-4 record, are on a three-game winning streak and will begin a three-game road trip against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday.
