The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is reportedly planning a return to Brazil in the near future.

According to sources, the promotion is working towards holding a Fight Night event in Brazil this October. The specific date being considered is October 11th, with the proposed venue being the Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro. However, details are still pending finalization.

The last time the UFC held an event in Brazil was in May 2024, with UFC 301 also taking place at the Farmasi Arena in Rio. That card featured Alexandre Pantoja`s successful flyweight title defense against Steve Erceg in the headliner, and saw Jose Aldo`s return from retirement in a co-main event bout against Jonathan Martinez. The event drew 14,514 attendees.

Currently, the UFC does not have a traditional broadcast partner in Brazil, having concluded its deal with Band TV at the start of 2025. All UFC events in the country are exclusively aired on the promotion`s streaming service, UFC Fight Pass.

UFC CEO Dana White commented in September 2024 that the organization was “working on a big deal” in Brazil and hoped to announce it soon. However, no further announcements regarding potential broadcast partnerships or future events have been made since that time.
