Jean Silva is known for his impressive finishing abilities.
In April, Silva secured a submission victory over Bryce Mitchell using a ninja choke at UFC 314, extending his perfect promotional record to 5-0, all via finish. This marked Silva`s first submission win in the UFC, seemingly giving `Lord` a desire for more. Recently, Silva added another choke to his list, albeit in a less conventional setting, by briefly rendering a fan unconscious at an event in Brazil.
This past weekend, Silva was present at a Muay Thai event. The UFC`s No. 11-ranked featherweight interacted with attendees, posing for photos and signing autographs. In a common occurrence at such appearances, a fan specifically asked Silva to put him in a chokehold. `Lord` obliged, applying a rear-naked choke and maintaining the hold until the fan lost consciousness, even after the fan reportedly tapped. Silva captured the incident and shared it on his YouTube channel.
Once the fan was unconscious, Silva carefully lowered him. The fan promptly regained awareness. Upon standing, the fan initially seemed disoriented but soon began smiling and laughing, embracing Silva. According to reports, a friend of Silva lightheartedly commented to the fan, “This guy isn`t just aggressive, he`s also completely out of it!” They shared a laugh before Silva continued interacting with other fans.
