Their three-round clash saw Van emerge victorious via unanimous decision. However, the intensity and back-and-forth nature of the fight earned both men the prestigious Fight of the Night honor. As a result, Joshua Van and Brandon Royval each take home an additional $50,000 bonus check for their thrilling performance.

In the preliminary portion of the card, Gregory Rodrigues delivered a highlight-reel knockout against fellow middleweight veteran Jack Hermansson. Rodrigues landed a powerful shot that rendered Hermansson unconscious, earning “Robocop” his fifth post-fight bonus during his UFC tenure with this decisive finish.
