The highly anticipated flyweight bout featuring Joshua Van and Bruno Silva is back on, now slated for UFC 316 on June 7th in Newark, New Jersey.

UFC 316 is set to be held at the Prudential Center in Newark. The main event for this card is yet to be announced by the promotion.

Van, with a record of 13 wins and 2 losses, and Silva, at 14 wins, 6 losses, and 2 draws with 1 no contest, were initially supposed to fight on March 8th in Las Vegas. However, Silva had to withdraw due to several injuries. In his place, Van faced Rei Tsuruya, winning by decision and extending his winning streak to three fights. His UFC record now stands at 6 wins and 1 loss.

Silva is aiming to bounce back after his loss via TKO in the third round to Manel Kape. Before this setback, Silva had an impressive run of four consecutive wins, all finishes, each earning him a $50,000 bonus.
