UFC 314 is approaching quickly, with less than a month to go, and the promotional poster for this highly anticipated event has been revealed by the UFC.
The main attraction for the UFC’s return to Miami on April 12th is a title fight. Former UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski will face Diego Lopes for the vacant UFC featherweight title. This championship became available after Ilia Topuria, the previous UFC featherweight champion, decided to move up to the 155-pound lightweight division.
Featured prominently on the poster is also the five-round co-main event in the lightweight division, a clash between Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett. Chandler has experienced losses in four of his last five matches, while Pimblett is on an impressive winning streak of eight fights, including a 6-0 record within the UFC.
The UFC 314 main card is packed with exciting matchups, including a featherweight battle between Bryce Mitchell and Jean Silva, a welterweight contest featuring Geoff Neal and Carlos Prates, and the opening main card fight which sees former UFC interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez welcoming Patricio Pitbull, a former two-division champion from Bellator, to the UFC.
