Tom Aspinall, attending UFC London, couldn`t resist taking a playful jab at Jon Jones.
During Saturday`s fight night broadcast, cameras caught Aspinall in the crowd. Initially maintaining a serious expression, the top-ranked heavyweight suddenly held up a duck toy, directing a wide-eyed look towards the camera. The meaning was clear: Aspinall`s duck was a thinly veiled taunt aimed at Jones, who seems hesitant to commit to a fight between them.

Jon Jones currently reigns as the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion. He secured the vacant title with a swift victory over Ciryl Gane after Francis Ngannou`s departure in 2023 and successfully defended it against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309.
When the Jones-Miocic matchup was delayed from its original UFC 295 date, Aspinall stepped in and claimed the interim title by defeating Sergei Pavlovich. He defended this interim title against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304. Despite stating his willingness to defend his belt against anyone, Aspinall consistently campaigns for a fight with Jones.
UFC CEO Dana White is also optimistic about the unification bout happening, recently telling TNT Sports, “It`s just a matter of when now, getting it signed and done.”
