CD Projekt RED объявила о выходе нового дополнения для The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, слухи о котором циркулировали некоторое время. Расширение получило название Songs of the Past и планируется к выходу в 2027 году на PC, Xbox Series X/S и PlayStation 5.

“Songs of the Past” is the New Expansion for The Witcher 3
CD Projekt RED has announced a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as had been rumored. Titled Songs of the Past, it is slated for release in 2027 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
Last-gen console versions, as well as the Switch, will not be receiving this expansion. Additionally, the PC version’s system requirements have been updated, with a slight increase in the minimum necessary specifications.
Described as “brand new” and “fully-fledged” in the press release, this expansion is being developed by Fool’s Theory. It will see players once again step into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia to “embark on a new adventure before setting off on the Path with Ciri in the upcoming The Witcher 4.”
There is no trailer available at this time. However, a digital event is scheduled for tomorrow at 5:00 PM to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Blood & Wine, another highly acclaimed expansion for The Witcher 3. It is highly probable that more information about Songs of the Past will be revealed then, although the press release states that further details will be provided “by the end of summer.”
