Forward Taylor Raddysh is set to continue his career in the Metropolitan Division, having officially signed a two-year contract with the New York Rangers. The team announced the agreement on Wednesday.

According to reports from NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the contract carries an average annual value of $1.5 million.

The 27-year-old spent the most recent season with the Washington Capitals, the division champions. In 80 regular season games, he recorded seven goals and 20 assists. He also added one assist in seven playoff appearances.

A native of Caledon, Ontario, Raddysh was originally a 58th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. His career has also included time with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Over his 305 career NHL games, Raddysh has accumulated a total of 100 points, scoring 43 goals and adding 57 assists.
