Microsoft recently hosted a new Xbox Partner Preview, a digital presentation format where the company’s partners showcase games they will soon be releasing on Xbox. This event featured a wide array of titles, from ambitious projects to more niche offerings. This edition saw the grand ambitions of Ryū ga Gotoku’s new project alongside more modest proposals, totaling nineteen games. Seven of these were announced during the event, and fourteen are confirmed to launch day-one on Game Pass Ultimate.
Key highlights from the event included:
- Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish, the latest from Teyon, the studio behind RoboCop: Rogue City.
- Alien Deathstorm, from Rebellion.
- Artificial Detective, the debut title from Vivix, a studio comprising seasoned veterans from the video game and animation industries with experience on projects such as Love, Death & Robots, Dead Space, Hunt: Showdown, and Call of Duty.
- New gameplay footage for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, Owlcat’s new RPG.
- Hades II is set to arrive on Xbox (and PS5) on April 14th.
- Moosa: Dirty Fate, an action game set in feudal Korea and developed by Iggymob, the team behind the latest Gungrave G.O.R.E.
- Serious Sam: Shatterverse, a roguelike first-person shooter where multiple versions of Sam cross paths in a single universe.
- Cost of Hope, the first major expansion for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, scheduled for release this summer.
- Stranger Than Heaven, the new game from the Yakuza studio, which will have its dedicated reveal event on May 6th for further details.
