Oklahoma City Thunder point guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, made a brief appearance in Canadian rapper Drake`s music video for the song `Nokia`. The video was released on Monday.

Gilgeous-Alexander is seen in the video at the 2 minute and 37 second mark, wearing different colors of his new signature Converse sneakers around his neck.

Both the basketball player and Drake were born in Ontario, Canada.

Besides Gilgeous-Alexander, Drake also included other basketball references in the `Nokia` video. In the opening scenes, Drake is wearing a Drake Bulldogs jersey while rapping the first verse of the song. `Nokia` is from his recent collaboration album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, titled `$ome $exy $ongs 4 U`.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is performing exceptionally this NBA season. He is on pace to potentially become only the 10th player in NBA history to achieve the scoring title while playing for a team with the best record in the league. Historically, eight out of the previous nine players who achieved this went on to win the MVP award.

Currently, Gilgeous-Alexander is leading the NBA in scoring, averaging 32.8 points per game. He also averages five rebounds and 6.4 assists per game.
