SALT LAKE CITY — Detroit Red Wings secured a victory against Utah with Alex Lyon making 16 saves after replacing injured starting goalie Petr Mrazek.

Mrazek left the game early, just 1:38 into the first period, due to a suspected lower body injury. He was injured in a collision with Dylan Guenther during a breakaway attempt. Mrazek was seen limping off the ice and immediately went to the locker room.

Detroit`s scoring came from Elmer Soderblom, Marco Kasper, Austin Watson, Alex DeBrincat, and Tyler Motte, which helped the team end their six-game losing streak on the road.

For Utah, Dylan Guenther marked a milestone by reaching 100 career points with his 26th goal of the season. Goalie Karel Vejmelka recorded nine saves in his 14th consecutive start, a career-high.
