Anthony Mantha`s tenure with the Calgary Flames was brief.
The forward has signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins valued at $2.5 million, the team announced on Wednesday.
According to reports, the deal also includes the possibility of earning an additional $2 million through performance bonuses.

The 30-year-old forward, originally from Longueuil, Quebec, had inked a one-year agreement with the Flames last summer. However, his season was significantly shortened after he sustained an ACL injury in November, requiring surgery that ended his participation after only 13 games. Before the injury, he had registered seven points, consisting of four goals and three assists.
Mantha was a first-round selection, picked 20th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Over his 10-season NHL career, he has played for the Red Wings, Washington Capitals, Vegas Golden Knights, and Flames, appearing in 507 games and accumulating a total of 303 points (146 goals and 157 assists).
