DALLAS — Sidney Crosby scored three goals and provided one assist, leading Pittsburgh to a comeback victory against Dallas with a score of 5-3.
Bryan Rust and Blake Lizotte also contributed goals, helping the Penguins secure their second win in the last three games. Goaltender Tristan Jarry made 21 saves.
For Dallas, Evgenii Dadonov also achieved a hat trick, marking his second of the season. Casey DeSmith stopped 35 shots as the Stars` seven-game winning streak and ten-game point streak (8-0-2) came to an end.
Rust tied the game at 3-3 in the third period at 8:49, receiving a pass from Crosby in front of the net. He maneuvered around DeSmith, who was sprawled out, and scored with a backhand shot into the open net. This goal was Rust’s 200th in the NHL.
