In the most significant bout of his career, Pimblett delivered a dominant performance against Michael Chandler. He controlled the fight for two rounds before securing a TKO victory in the third through ground and pound.
This Wednesday, Pimblett shared a behind-the-scenes video blog from his memorable night in Miami, showcasing a celebratory atmosphere backstage.
Numerous prominent figures, including UFC CEO Dana White, personally congratulated Pimblett and lauded his impressive performance.
“Everyone keeps doubting you,” White exclaimed. “Congratulations!”
Pimblett also made sure to visit Michael Chandler in his locker room, expressing his respect to the veteran for accepting the fight.
“Mike, thank you for stepping up and sharing the octagon with me,” Pimblett acknowledged. “I appreciate it.”
UFC stars Dustin Poirier and Israel Adesanya were also seen complimenting Pimblett. Even King Green, despite being a recent opponent, publicly acknowledged Pimblett`s skill on social media.
In his Instagram Stories, Green admitted, “I haven’t watched the full fight yet, just the highlights. But I’ll be the first to say it if others won’t: you’re the real deal, brother.”
This victory marks Pimblett`s seventh consecutive win in the UFC and propels him into the top 10 of the lightweight rankings, securing the No. 8 position.
