The Ottawa Senators and forward Nick Cousins have agreed to a new contract.

The team announced Tuesday that Cousins has signed a one-year deal worth $825,000.

The 31-year-old forward played for the Senators during the 2024-25 season after joining as a free agent the previous off-season. He registered six goals and 15 points in 50 games.

Before his time in Ottawa, Cousins played for several other NHL teams, including the Florida Panthers, where he won a Stanley Cup in 2024. His career also includes stints with the Nashville Predators, Vegas Golden Knights, Montreal Canadiens, Arizona Coyotes, and Philadelphia Flyers.

Originally from Belleville, Ontario, Cousins was a third-round pick (68th overall) by the Flyers in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
