ONE Championship has announced the cancellation of Friday`s event in Bangkok, Thailand. This decision comes after a significant 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar.

Reports indicate this was the strongest earthquake in the region since 1991. Tragically, at least three fatalities have been confirmed, and 81 individuals are believed to be trapped in the debris of a collapsed building in Bangkok, according to Reuters.

ONE Friday Fights 102 was scheduled to feature 12 matches at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The card included a main event Muay Thai bout between Rambong Sor Terapat and Pompetch, as well as two MMA fights: Jean Claude Saclag versus Shazada Ataev, and Marwin Quirante versus Torepchi Dongak. The promotion has not yet announced if these fights will be rescheduled for future events.

ONE Championship has another event planned for next Friday in Bangkok, which is set to include two Muay Thai title fights. It is currently uncertain whether this event will proceed as planned.
