Olivier Rodrigue is set to make his debut NHL start for the Edmonton Oilers.
The 24-year-old goaltender practiced with the team as they prepare for their away game against the Anaheim Ducks.
Rodrigue previously experienced NHL action when he debuted as a relief goalie against the Seattle Kraken on March 27, successfully saving seven out of eight shots.
Throughout 40 games in the AHL with Bakersfield, Rodrigue achieved an 18-15-7 record, maintaining a 3.05 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage.
Edmonton urgently recalled Rodrigue after Stuart Skinner was sidelined due to a knee to the head by Dallas Stars winger Mikko Rantanen.
