The Edmonton Oilers have signed goaltender to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Saturday.

Day was drafted in the sixth round, 184th overall, by the Oilers in 2023.

The 20-year-old from Grimsby, Ont., posted a 26-25-5 record, 3.07 goals-against average and .894 with two shutouts in 59 games with the Flint Firebirds of the Ontario Hockey League this season.

He was named the OHL’s Goaltender of the Week three times as he led all netminders in games played (59) and minutes played (3,401).
