The Edmonton Oilers have added a new goalie to their team as Stuart Skinner is currently injured.
Edmonton announced on Thursday that they have recalled goaltender Olivier Rodrigue from the AHL`s Bakersfield Condors on an emergency basis.
In a related roster move, forward Derek Ryan was sent down to Bakersfield.
Rodrigue, aged 24, has played 40 games for the Bakersfield Condors this season, recording a 3.05 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage. He is still waiting for his debut in the NHL.
Skinner`s game was cut short on Wednesday after he was hit in the head by Dallas Stars winger Mikko Rantanen`s knee.
