NBA Play-in Games: Best Bets for Wednesday

Sports news » NBA Play-in Games: Best Bets for Wednesday

The 2025 NBA play-in tournament started with exciting games on Tuesday night, as Orlando defeated Atlanta, and Golden State overcame Memphis to secure No. 7 playoff seeds.

Wednesday continues the excitement with the Miami Heat at the Chicago Bulls (-1.5, 219.5), and the Dallas Mavericks on the road against the Sacramento Kings (-4.5, 213.5). Both games will be broadcast on ESPN.

Here are recommended bets for Wednesday`s games.

Wednesday Betting Picks

Bam Adebayo Over 19.5 Points (-105)

While Adebayo`s offensive output hasn`t been consistently high this season, he often elevates his performance in crucial moments. He has exceeded this point total in four of his last five games when playing 40+ minutes and in two of three regular-season games against Chicago. Facing a Bulls team that allows the fifth-most points per game to centers, Adebayo is well-positioned to surpass this mark.

Josh Giddey Over 28.5 Points and Assists (-105)

Giddey has been performing exceptionally well since the All-Star break, concluding the regular season strongly. He has surpassed this combined points and assists line in 14 of his last 20 games, averaging 14.2 field goal attempts and 15.2 potential assists in 34 minutes. With Chicago missing key players, Giddey is expected to have significant playing time against the Heat. Expect him to be aggressive in both scoring and playmaking.

DeMar DeRozan Over 9.5 Assists and Rebounds (-110)

DeRozan is anticipated to play extended minutes with Malik Monk sidelined. He has exceeded this combined assists and rebounds line in six of nine games played with Zach LaVine in the lineup and Monk out. During these games, he has averaged 10 potential assists and 8.1 rebound chances in approximately 38.5 minutes.

Anthony Davis Over 4.5 Assists (+115)

Davis has exceeded this assist mark in three of his last five games, averaging 5.6 potential assists in 30 minutes per game. With the Mavericks facing elimination, Davis is expected to play heavy minutes. If the Kings defense focuses on taking the ball out of his hands, it should create more assist opportunities for him.
