Miro Heiskanen continues to be sidelined as his recovery progresses.
Dallas Stars head coach Pete DeBoer has confirmed that the team`s primary defenseman will not participate in Game 3 against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
Heiskanen has been out of action since January, recovering from knee surgery. Although the Stars` defenseman rejoined practice sessions prior to the commencement of the playoffs, his condition is still evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
Before sustaining the injury, the Finnish player had recorded five goals and 20 assists over 50 games.
