Meredith Gaudreau has announced the birth of her third child, Carter Michael Gaudreau.
The widow of the late hockey player Johnny Gaudreau shared the news on Instagram on Monday, mentioning that Carter was born on April 1st.
Meredith wrote that Carter, who shares his middle name with his father, “looks exactly like his daddy, too.”
In her heartfelt message, Meredith expressed her love for her newborn son: “I love you so much my baby! We are going to have so much fun. I can’t wait to give you the best life, my special boy forever.”
She also paid tribute to her late husband, saying, “John, thank you for giving me our beautiful family. We love u, Daddy and miss you so much.”
Johnny and his brother Matthew tragically passed away last August in a car accident while cycling in New Jersey.
Meredith had announced her pregnancy with Carter during the memorial service for Johnny and Matthew in September.
Carter joins his older siblings, Noa and Johnny Jr., who were born in 2022 and 2024 respectively.
