Former UFC heavyweight fighter Maurice Greene is expanding his career beyond mixed martial arts, securing a featured role in the upcoming horror movie Him. This film is being produced by the acclaimed Academy Award winner Jordan Peele.

The debut trailer for Him, released on Friday, offered a glimpse of Greene`s chilling presence. The trailer shows the experienced fighter with a bloodied face during a training scene alongside the film`s lead actor, Tyriq Withers.

The cast of Him is also notable, including Marlon Wayans, Tim Heidecker, and Australian comedian Jim Jefferies. Like Greene, hip hop artist Guapdad 4000 and Grammy-nominated Tierra Whack are also making their feature film debuts in this movie.

Him centers on Cameron Cade (played by Withers), a promising quarterback whose life and identity are deeply intertwined with football. Just before the crucial professional football scouting Combine, Cam is attacked by a disturbed fan, resulting in a potentially career-ending brain injury.

When hope seems lost, Cam is offered a lifeline by his idol, Isaiah White (Wayans), a legendary eight-time championship quarterback and cultural icon. Isaiah invites Cam to train at his secluded compound, shared with his influencer wife, Elsie White (Julia Fox). However, as Cam`s training intensifies, Isaiah`s initially charming demeanor transforms into something sinister, leading Cam down a disturbing and potentially dangerous path.

Him is directed by Justin Tipping, using a script that was featured on the Black List, written by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie. Jordan Peele is involved as an executive producer through his Monkeypaw Productions, and Universal Pictures is distributing the film.
