Logan Paul has agreed to fight Lionel Messi`s bodyguard, but on his own terms.
Yassine Chueko had recently challenged Paul to a fight in an Instagram video. The WWE star responded on his YouTube channel on Wednesday night.
“Tell him to wait his turn,” Paul stated. “He’s an MMA fighter who thinks he can box, and believes he deserves a victory or attention just because he is Messi’s bodyguard.”
“I`ve offered to fly people out before, he doesn’t even deserve to be flown out.”
There is some history between the two sides as Messi’s beverage brand Más+ has filed a lawsuit against Paul’s PRIME drink brand for “anti-competitive” behavior, which PRIME has countered with a lawsuit of their own.
While the legal system will determine the winner of that dispute, Paul says if Chueko really wants to fight, he is easy to find – but there are conditions.
“Look, I’m here in Puerto Rico, if you want to come to Puerto Rico and find me, you are welcome to do so,” Paul said. “When I beat you up, and it’s a when, not if, when I beat you up, you have to drink PRIME. You have to drink PRIME, bro.”
“I would honestly feel sorry for Messi because he’s going to lose this lawsuit, he’s probably going to lose his bodyguard, because why would you hire a bodyguard if he gets beaten up by a YouTuber. The guy is losing everything – except the World Cup. Respect.”
