Logan Paul says he wishes he never decided to box Dillon Danis.
The fight happened in October 2023 as part of The Prime Card event, where Paul won against Danis by disqualification. Many consider it a forgettable boxing match.
In his reality show, Paul American, the WWE star talked about the lead-up to the boxing match and how Danis used social media to attack Paul`s fiancée, Nina Agdal.
“I wanted a big fight and thought this guy could attract pay-per-view buys, so I chose him as my opponent. It turned out to be the worst decision of my life,” Paul admitted.
“If we didn`t talk about him, he would be irrelevant. We are the only ones keeping him in the spotlight. But we give him attention just to put him down, and I`m okay with that.”
“This guy wasn`t really interested in fighting me, the man he signed a contract to fight. He was only interested in attacking my girlfriend.”
Paul claims Danis photoshopped and shared over 400 photos of Agdal, which drew a lot of attention to the fight and caused Agdal to receive a lot of negative attention.
“It was the most traumatic experience of my life,” Agdal shared. “Every day, I was attacked by hundreds and thousands of people, and I had thoughts of hurting myself to escape the pain.”
Paul is now preparing for WrestleMania 41, where he will face AJ Styles in Las Vegas.
Before returning to wrestling, Paul, who recently became a father, mentioned he`s now more aware of the impact of online harassment after seeing what Agdal went through.
“It really damaged her deeply,” Paul said. “It really messed with her.”
