A dispute over energy drinks between Logan Paul and football star Lionel Messi could potentially turn into a boxing match. Yassine Chueko, Messi`s bodyguard, has offered to fight Logan Paul on behalf of the renowned athlete.
Chueko, known for his martial arts skills and viral videos showcasing his dedication to protecting Messi, issued the challenge via an Instagram video. His speed and reflexes in safeguarding Messi have gained significant attention online.
In his video message, Chueko addressed Paul directly, stating that public demand for the fight is overwhelming. He asserted that the fight is now inevitable, declaring, “there`s no way out” and suggesting they “do the fight for the people.”
The conflict began when Messi launched his energy drink, Mas+, which Paul alleges has packaging that closely resembles his own PRIME brand. Reportedly, both Mas+ and PRIME have initiated lawsuits against each other.
Paul publicly accused Messi of copying PRIME and humorously proposed dropping the lawsuit if Messi would agree to a boxing match in 2025. Paul himself participated in a boxing exhibition in October 2023.
Chueko`s challenge appears to be a direct response, escalating the situation beyond the legal arena and into the realm of a potential physical confrontation.
Chueko concluded his message on Instagram hoping Paul would receive it and suggested ending the public back-and-forth on social media after this challenge.
