Kevin Holland is showing no signs of slowing down, as he is scheduled for his fourth fight of 2025 on July 19. “Trailblazer” will step into the octagon to face Daniel Rodriguez at UFC 318 in New Orleans. The booking was confirmed by multiple sources following an initial report.
UFC 318 is set to take place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event is expected to feature a BMF title fight between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier in the main event.
This upcoming bout marks a quick turnaround for Holland, just seven weeks after his last fight. A win would extend his current UFC winning streak to three, a feat he hasn`t achieved since 2020 when he recorded five consecutive victories. Holland, who holds a professional record of 28-13 with one no contest, recently stopped Vicente Luque three months after a decision win over Gunnar Nelson, earning performance bonuses for both outings. These wins saw him rebound from previous middleweight defeats.
His opponent, Daniel Rodriguez (19-5), is coming off a third-round knockout victory over Santiago Ponzinibbio in May, which boosted his UFC record to 9-4, including a prior decision win against Alex Morono. The 38-year-old Rodriguez is looking to secure his third straight win after facing setbacks in 2024 against opponents like Neil Magny, Ian Machado Garry, and Kelvin Gastelum.
