Gabriel Vilardi is set to join the Winnipeg Jets on their trip to St. Louis for Game 3 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series against the Blues.

The skilled winger participated in practice again on Wednesday, wearing a non-contact yellow jersey. Head coach Scott Arniel confirmed Vilardi would travel with the team to Missouri.

The Jets are scheduled to play the Blues in St. Louis on Thursday. Winnipeg currently leads the best-of-seven series 2-0. Game 4 is on Sunday.

Coach Arniel also stated that winger Nikolaj Ehlers, who is dealing with a lower-body injury, will not travel with the team.

Vilardi missed the final 11 games of the regular season due to an upper-body injury. He had a productive season prior to that, recording 27 goals and 61 points in 71 games.

During his absence, Alex Iafallo took his place on the top forward line alongside left-winger Kyle Connor and centre Mark Scheifele.
