Both the Winnipeg Jets and the St. Louis Blues have announced adjustments to their defensive lineups for Game 3 of their opening-round playoff series.

Jets defenseman Dylan DeMelo will not play in Game 3 and will be replaced by Colin Miller. While no specific reason was provided for DeMelo`s absence, he did miss Wednesday`s practice for what was termed “maintenance.”

The Blues, who used seven defensemen in Game 2 on Monday, will return to a standard six-defenseman alignment for Game 3. Veteran blueliner Ryan Suter is listed as a healthy scratch, with forward Alexandre Texier entering the lineup for the first time in the series.

Winnipeg holds a 2-0 series lead heading into Game 3, which is being played in St. Louis.
