Combat sports fans face a potentially expensive night on June 28th, as both the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fight and UFC 317 are scheduled to take place.
On Thursday, DAZN announced the pay-per-view cost for the Paul vs. Chavez Jr. bout. The undercard will feature former UFC champion Holly Holm returning to the boxing ring.
To watch, fans will need a DAZN subscription plus the $59.99 pay-per-view fee.
This boxing match will be Paul`s first appearance of 2025. His previous fight in November saw him defeat former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a massive event watched by over 100 million on Netflix.
The victory against the 58-year-old Tyson brought Paul`s overall record to 11-1. He now aims to add another well-known name to his fighting history by facing Chavez in June.
Chavez, at 39, is significantly past his career prime when he was a multi-division champion and top contender. His recent record is 3-3 over six fights, notably including a surprising loss to UFC legend Anderson Silva, whom Paul himself beat in 2022.
His most recent outing was an unconvincing decision win against another former UFC fighter, Uriah Hall.
Also featured on the main card is Holly Holm`s return to boxing for the first time since 2013, where she will face Yolanda Vega.
The Paul vs. Chavez event directly competes with UFC 317. UFC 317 in Las Vegas is headlined by a vacant lightweight title bout between Ilia Topuria (moving to 155 lbs) and former champion Charles Oliveira, with Alexandre Pantoja defending his flyweight title against Kai Kara-France in the co-main event.
UFC 317 requires an ESPN+ subscription plus a $79.99 pay-per-view purchase.
