Jake Paul is targeting Anthony Joshua as his next boxing opponent.

This announcement follows Paul`s controversial decision victory over Mike Tyson in November. Now, the focus has shifted to a potential matchup with the former unified heavyweight champion.

“I am aware of my limits,” Paul stated on his podcast, BS w/ Jake Paul. “But here’s the truth: I want to fight Anthony Joshua – exclusively – because I am confident I would beat Anthony Joshua decisively.”

“He has a weak chin, lacks skills, and is too rigid. And I respect you, Anthony. We are friends and all, but I still want to fight you.”

In 2024, Paul has already competed three times, securing knockout victories against Ryan Bourland and BKFC fighter Mike Perry. His only boxing defeat was against Tommy Fury in February 2023, but he has since rebounded with five consecutive wins.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has expressed high confidence in his abilities, even suggesting he could defeat top-ranked boxers like Canelo Alvarez. However, Paul admitted there is one boxer he would avoid fighting due to the high probability of defeat – and it’s David Benavidez, who was present during the podcast recording.

“I believe I can beat Canelo, and many others, but not David Benavidez,” Paul confessed. “He would overwhelm me. He is on another level.”
