Microsoft and IGN are collaborating once more to present a fresh edition of ID@Xbox, their dedicated showcase for independent games. This upcoming event is scheduled for Thursday, April 23rd, at 7:00 PM CET.
The showcase is expected to follow a familiar format. IGN has provided a preview of some of the titles that will be featured. Among them is Mistfall Hunter, a multiplayer-focused soulslike that draws inspiration from extraction shooters, described on its Steam page as a “third-person action PvPvE extraction RPG.”
Another highlighted game is There are No Ghosts at the Grand. This title, previously shown by Xbox at last year’s Games Showcase, blends house renovation mechanics similar to those found in House Flipper or Powerwash Simulator with a mystery narrative that includes musical elements.
Additionally, Netmarble’s Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive transforms the popular Korean webtoon into an action RPG. The lineup is rounded out by Aphelion, the latest from Don’t Nod. Set to release on April 28th, Aphelion has been a highly anticipated project from the prolific French studio since its appearance at the 2025 Games Showcase, where it was recognized as one of the most promising titles.
While these four games are confirmed, the organizers promise that the event will be “packed” with trailers and gameplay footage. We’ll be keeping a close watch on the showcase and will discuss the highlights on Friday.
