Art of War Cage Fighting (AOW) is set to kick off its 2026 season on March 28th at the Valley Forge, PA Casino with AOW 46, featuring the main event between Turnbull and Ryan Yapsam. AOW President Mike Bickings and his team have planned a total of six events for the calendar year.

Grindhouse MMA and Fitness continues to build a strong legacy through its comprehensive programs and highly regarded fight team. Former AOW featherweight champion Shawn Stefanelli has been instrumental in coaching the gym’s emerging talent, with three of his protégés scheduled to compete this Saturday evening.

Anthony Corsino

Anthony Corsino, holding a 2-1 record, makes his return to the cage after a two-year hiatus. He attributes his comeback to an enduring passion for competition and the motivation gained from training alongside his teammates. Corsino, 34, is slated to face Sean Casey, a promising 20-year-old with an 0-2 record who has, nonetheless, shown composure against challenging opponents. Corsino, who was actively assisting his teammates, embraced this unexpected fight opportunity with strong determination.

Dan Stewart

Dan Stewart is diligently preparing for his highly anticipated professional debut. After several years of dedicated training, he feels the time is right, having fully committed to his diet and gym regimen. Stewart credits Shawn Stefanelli’s influence for shaping his disciplined and resilient fighting style. He will face Shaker Ali-Saleh, who previously pushed formidable opponent Justus Cheatum to a decision. This matchup is widely anticipated to be a strong contender for Fight of the Night.

Sean Conner

Sean Conner, 27, brings five years of experience to the cage with a 1-1 record, which includes a submission victory and a five-round decision loss, both occurring in 2014. His strong camaraderie with teammates Corsino and Stewart has further fueled his dedication to training and improvement. Conner is set to welcome Tasheem Morris, who is making his AOW debut. Conner holds a clear experience advantage, and it remains to be seen how this will impact the fight.

Jerry Bradley, the leader of Grindhouse, shared his thoughts:

“Witnessing these three fighters forge such a strong bond has been truly special,” Bradley stated. “This is why I do what I do; it’s about much more than just fighting. These men have found lifelong friends and push each other to excel. It’s going to be a significant night for them and for Grindhouse. We’re incredibly excited.”

Hadley Winterbourne

Hadley Winterbourne, 41, calls Manchester his home while traveling extensively to cover NHL and football matches. His journey in sports journalism began as a local football commentator in 2008, eventually expanding his expertise to multiple sports.
