Defenceman Cam York is set to remain with the Philadelphia Flyers.

York, a restricted free agent, has signed a contract extension with the team. The agreement is reportedly for five years and is valued at $25.75 million.

Selected 14th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, York has appeared in 235 games for the Flyers, tallying 77 points. He has established himself as a key component of the team`s top defensive pairings.

A native of Anaheim, California, York also represented the United States on two occasions at the World Junior Championship, including the gold medal-winning team in 2021.

At the beginning of the 2024-25 season, York was sidelined for approximately a month after being placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury.
