The 32 players nominated for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy have each demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination, overcoming various obstacles to excel in hockey and significantly contribute to their respective teams.
These nominees, one from each NHL team, were revealed on Wednesday morning.
The Masterton Trophy is awarded annually to the NHL player who best embodies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey. The winner is selected by the Professional Hockey Writers Association.
Recent recipients of this prestigious award include Connor Ingram, Kris Letang, and Carey Price.
