ANAHEIM, Calif. — Cutter Gauthier, with an assist from Frank Vatrano, leveled the score in the dying moments and then secured the win at 1:11 into overtime, as the Anaheim Ducks triumphed over the Calgary Flames 4-3.

Earlier, Calgary had established a 3-1 lead thanks to quick goals from Yegor Sharangovich and Matt Coronato within a 1:42 minute stretch. However, Vatrano initiated Anaheim`s comeback with a goal at 3:57 remaining in regulation. Gauthier then equalized just nine seconds later.

In overtime, Leo Carlsson set up Gauthier, who capitalized with a precise wrist shot from the high slot, finding the top right corner of the net past goalie Dustin Wolf.

Ville Husso was instrumental in the Ducks` victory, stopping 36 shots.

For the Flames, Mikael Backlund scored the first goal in the second period, while Trevor Zegras responded for the Ducks to tie the game with 8:11 left in regulation.

Sharangovich regained the lead for Calgary at 6:14 remaining, and Coronato extended it further at 4:42 to go.

Wolf managed 19 saves in the game.
