Sports news » Fighter Uses Scale as Weapon in Chaotic BKFC Weigh-in Brawl

Talk about escalating tensions!

BKFC Fight Night: Hollywood is set to take place this Thursday in Hollywood, Florida, featuring a main event clash between Luis Palomino and Howard Davis. However, the pre-fight weigh-ins on Wednesday became the main attraction as co-main event competitors Leonardo Perdomo and Steve Herelius engaged in a heated brawl. The highlight of the altercation saw Herelius seize a weigh-in scale and brandish it as a weapon.

Following the weigh-in, Perdomo and Herelius faced off for the customary photos, exchanging heated words throughout. The situation escalated when Herelius flicked Perdomo`s nose, prompting “Zambo” to respond with a punch and a shove. Security personnel intervened, seemingly calming the situation, until Herelius dramatically grabbed the weigh-in scale and attempted to advance on Perdomo. Security swiftly restrained Herelius, and BKFC President David Feldman intervened to disarm him.

The wild scene unfolded as captured below.

Herelius and Perdomo are scheduled to square off in a five-round bout tomorrow, available for viewing on TrillerTV.
